This includes repetitions, stutters, interjections, etc. However, in a natural transcription, everything is also transcribed exactly as heard on the recording, excluding repetitions, stutters, etc. In addition, in a natural transcription, work is done to facilitate the reading of the document.
Both the interviewee and the interviewer are each considered as 1 interlocutor. When placing your order, please indicate 2 interlocutors in the case of both interviewee and interviewer. On the contrary, in case of monologues, select only one interlocutor.
Determining whether a recording (video or audio) is of good, average or poor quality can be done by you in most cases.
A recording is considered to be of good quality when other people, who are not familiar with the voices on the recording, can clearly identify them on a first listen, without any kind of interference, such as noise, humming, etc., that would make it difficult.
By medium quality we mean those recordings in which the transcriber must occasionally listen to the recording more than once to understand it clearly, or because there are background noises or very strong accents that limit its comprehension. Telephone interviews are usually of average quality.
When a transcriber must listen to a recording many times to be able to clearly distinguish what is being said in the audio or video due to the presence of noise, we are talking about poor quality.

Yes, all speakers who intervene in the audio or video will be differentiated in the transcription. As a general rule, we will differentiate the speakers as P1, P2, etc., i.e., person 1, person 2, etc. However, if you prefer that we differentiate in some other way, it is important that you point this out when placing the order.
If you expressly mention that you need us to transcribe stuttering, interjections, etc., we will do so, otherwise we will limit ourselves to a literal or natural transcription depending on the option you have chosen.
